My life’s work is about holistic healing and wholeness through many modalities, living from the heart center and walking in the Christ light and healing energy that is available to us all. I am an ordained Episcopal priest, author, a certified yoga educator, a spiritual guide, and founder of YogaMass®. I also am a certified master energy medicine practitioner and an advanced alchemy crystal bowl practitioner using ancient lineage techniques, quantum energy healing modalities, and vibrational medicine to support awakening and living into the full potential innately within us all. Each of us came here to live fully into our unique life purpose, and my joy is to help you heal, become whole, and discover your purpose and your true self so that you are free to live joyously into your Life. In 2010, I was ordained as a Priest in the Episcopal Church, and until August 2017, I served as the Priest for a mission congregation in central southwest Houston, Texas, Grace Episcopal Church. My calling expanded to lead YogaMass into the wider community and to share the message of awakening to and embodying Christ Consciousness. My way of life is a balance between contemplation and movement, thinking & feeling and doing & being, all with the awareness of Divine presence. My work incorporates multi-dimensional healing and support using spiritual direction, sound medicine, guided meditation, chakra balancing and energy healing, and spiritual and emotional healing using various modalities. Prior to my ordination, I earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas at Austin and a master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Houston, enjoying a career for over 20 years in human resources. I obtained a master’s degree in Divinity from the Episcopal Seminary of the Southwest in Austin in 2009. My meditation practice as an Oblate with the World Community for Christian Meditation has gratefully taken me deeper and deeper into the heart of God. I began studying energy medicine in 2011, beginning with Reiki Level 1 training in Bangkok with Reiki Master Tom Radzienda. I expanded into the energy of yoga to integrate yoga into my Christian spiritual life as a pilgrim and a priest. I obtained a 200-hour yoga teacher certification from the Nosara Yoga Institute in Costa Rica, a 300-hour certification in the Pralaya Yoga system in Houston, and an additional 200-hour certification from Lex Gillan at the Yoga Institute. I hold Advanced Certifications for facilitating Amrit Yoga Nidra. I am also advanced certified with Sound Universe International in alchemy crystal bowl sound healing, with training in Quantum Energy Healing with Yantara Jiro in 2020 only two weeks before the pandemic lockdown. It is a great joy to bring the light and sounds of Crystal Tones ™ alchemy crystal bowls into the world and in my home community of greater Houston. Together with my friend CJ Rubenak, we began a new adventure and business, Crystal Bowl Gallery, in June 2020. These bowls have been deeply transformative for me and brought deep energy healing that I didn’t realize I was carrying. I will love to share the deeply transformative bowls with you. When I am playing my crystal bowls, on my mat and connecting deeply with my breath and the energy moving within me, I feel the quiet presence of God within and around me, allowing me to touch the essence of all of life. The same happens for me when celebrating the Eucharist--the deepest of joys. I am here to help everyone find that deep place of inner joy, peace and love and discover the beauty of light deep within. In the spring of 2023, I achieved master level certification in the Four Winds Society’s energy medicine practitioner training. This training supports my lifelong calling to practice and guide others in the Beauty Way and to offer energy healing modalities in the ancient Andean/Peruvian lineage. This blending of the North and the South American traditions resonates deep in my soul.
